Bishop Auckland Food Festival — April 18th & 19th
Bishop Auckland Food Festival is returning for 2020 on the 18 and 19 April bringing together more fabulous local and UK street food traders and producers to sell their delicious treats.
We will have more outdoor spring atmosphere with live music and attractions including our live Cookery Theatre, plus lots to see and do for the kids and lots of food festival goodies to take home too. We have an extensive range of street food catering and bars offering delicious food & drink from around the world. We Love 90s In The Park — Darlington, May 9th
Already established as the hottest throwback event in town, We Love 90’s is gearing up for its next adventure in the beautiful setting of Darlington’s idyllic South Park.
As you enter through the mystical steel arches into a peaceful paradise boasting nearly 400 years of history, prepare to be transported back to everyone’s favourite era. Take a trip down memory lane to a decade of the finest pop bands, the biggest anthems and the most shameless of fashion statements for what promises to be the spectacle of the summer! Featuring performances from superstar Gareth Gates who will be returning to his roots in the North East. Boyband Five will appear alongside The Cheeky Girls and Liberty X with their chart-topping singles. East 17 will be there to make you want to Stay Another Day, and a special performance from the very best Robbie Williams tribute act will be one to remember.

Tees Valley Air Show — May 24th
Teeside’s airshow is flying back onto the scene in 2020 and tickets will cost a fiver.
The Tees Valley Air Show was last held in 2017, only to be grounded in the past two years. The show will return on Sunday 24th May to the recently renamed Teeside International Airport. The 187th Durham Regatta — June 13th & 14th
The Durham Regatta not only offers thrilling racing, but also a variety of attractions for everyone.
Entertainment from bands and performers along with a great selection of stalls to browse and local foods make it a brilliant family event. Last year 10,000 spectators and over 1,400 competitors experienced Durham Regatta set against the stunning backdrop of a World Heritage Site.
